Your Competences after a successful Module Examination

You can answer the central question “What do we stand on / build on” and know the different types of natural hazards. You understand the basic geotechnical mechanisms and know the fields of application of geotechnical measurement methods.

You will understand the most important fundamentals of hydrology, their interrelations in hydraulic engineering and know the most important hydraulic engineering systems. On the basis of case studies, simpler hydrological calculations are carried out.

You will be able to derive and apply calculations and correlations of the basic structural analysis topics and understand the basics of structural analysis.
